Nepenthes has another use for their pitchers. Ice buckets. N. merrilliana should be changed to N. Chilleriana!

jgriffin ..... just add ice.
cosmo and mitchell ..... Yes, it is N. Caesar.
Noa-F ...... Only one N. Ceasar has flowered so far ( a male). Three attempts were made with that pollen: N. burgidgeae x Caesar, N. (sibuyanensis xx trusmadiensis) x Caesar, and N. briggsiana x Caesar.

Well done Leilani.
The illusion of the bottle being slightly larger than the pitcher was skilllfully maintained until the very end of the trick...Bravo ! ;D

Not what I was expecting.
I expected to find a pitcher developed inside a bottle - like the ship.
Bet it hasn't been digested yet.

Wow, burbidgeae would have been my second choice. That should be amazing! Will these be the first man made hybrids with burbidgeae?

Sam: That is going to be an amazing hybrid. If you don't mind my asking, how many years have you made that cross? I have 2 of them which look to be at least a year different in age and neither is close to being as big as yours (to put it mildly).
