Since this species seems not to be widespread in cultivation, I will update the progress of these seed grown plants. I sown the seeds last september. The seedlings stopped to grow for 3/4 months after germination because the lights were too intense. They're in a shady spot now and kicking off! - May 2007: François.

This is an interesting species. I hope they will grow good for you. I have heard they are warm growers. Although your N. bical grows well for you, I am hoping more space could be given for this one.

I have this as a hybrid with spectabilis and they do well grown warm for me.
