Hi all, After watching this forum for a while, I found some time to register ;D This is probably the best site about growing Nepenthes in the web, here I can find the high quality threads, that I miss in the pitchplantsforum for some time. My name is Michael, I'm 22 and from Germany, but stay in Houston at the moment for a semester abroad. I started with CPs about 11 or 12 years ago with a VFT from a hardware store. In this time I got more and more interested in Nepenthes and can't wait to get back to Germany to grow my plants and show you some pics regards Michael

Michael You have become a member of the elitist nepenthes forum on the scene. You have stumbled across this great group of enthusiasts that many growers (i.e. BE) have never heard of this place. There will be more to come as the site develops and expands in many languages and locations.

Welcome, hopefully we can share enough pics of Nepenthes, so that you will not miss yours at home. Do you grow neps in Houston? Will you be taking any back to Germany?

Hi, I'm already back for 2 month now. I didn't grow any in Houston, because i've been there for only 6 month. But I'm glad to be back and having my plants again, although I'm still waiting for a friend to send some back, which he grew in the time I've been in the US. There are some nice pitchers developing, when they open I will take some pics and post them in the forum.
regards Michael
