Dear Friends, I'm quite happy to announce that we officially have another new Nepenthes species. Nepenthes bokorensis, described by François Mey, will appear on the last issue of the Australasian CP Society bulletin "Carniflora Australis":
François sockhom Mey. 2009, Nepenthes bokorensis, a new species of Nepenthaceae from Cambodia. Carniflora Australis, vol. 7, n°1, march 2009, 6-15.
The copies are being sent in these days. This same plant had been previously introduced to the world by me as N. bokor, because Martin Cheek was going to publish it with that name. Basically François was faster (I would also say "more passionate") and the name N. bokorensis will be the first one to be published and then the right one to be used. This is François' first new species, but I'm sure many others will come. Change your labels!
And François, now you'll have to change all the titles and links to N. bokor and sp. Cambodia spread everywhere on this forum!

I still like N. franciosii better, but I will make the change. At least it wasn't named after the color of the pitcher, like some other newbie we won't open up again.
Like place names too since it has relevance for something.
