In 2005 I wrote a book about the cultivation of carnivorous plants. It was in Italian language, and it was in fact only available in Italy, and only through the internet and at our cp society meetings. It had a great success, a success that honestly I wasn't even expecting. So I decided to write an English version of that same work. You will read all the details you might want to know on the little webpage I created; let me just tell you that, a part from the quality of the book, I'm particularly proud of how easy I managed to make its purchase: Wherever you live in the world, you will always pay the same price to have it, post and packaging included. And using Paypal, your copy is just a click away WWW.carnivorousplants.it Thanks! Marcello

Good for you Marcello. There is a market for good introductory texts on carnivorous plants and I hope this publication serves you as well as Peter D'Amato's Savage Garden has served him over the years. Congratulations on the new edition.

I agree. I'll buy at least one for sure! If nothing else, i love the "An Italian Perspective". Haha good stuff. I love your country by the way. The people, places, and climate (in June at least) were amazing. Expect that your goverment sent me 2 tickets 9 months after we visited.

Yup! We (my 20 something family members) rented out a nice sized house on the outskirts of a town named Arezzo, and we drove into the town often. However, we are all lazy-american- automatic-shifting drives, and the stick shift cars really threw us in the hilly places of town. The tickets said we went into a restricted part of town during un-authorized hours. We got a chuckle out of it at least. Good luck with your book! Frankie
