mmmh, maybe you should check on the web the problem beccariana/sumatrana...your plant should be N. sumatrana or a hybrid...

Hi Ed,
The striped peristome is definitely reminiscent of N. sumatrana but the elongated shape of this upper pitcher is more like beccariana's or longifolia's. That seems to be a great looking plant, whatever it is. I love it.
François.

Dear all,
This pitcher is taken by my friend from habitat to make me regret because I was not going with them ;D (for a week now, the pitcher still as fresh as in the picture, very hard and sturdy pitcher.)
Actually this is a species that is not registered yet, asked Suska and he used the name 'N. sumatrana var beccariana' for now. I better let him explained this one. (Mr. Suska please, thanks)
More of the pictures taken from the habitat will be posted in the respective area. Do check them out.
Ed

i've seen this type, i thoight it was sumatrana, but after seeing the real sumatrana, its definitely not a Sumatrana. i think its A longifolia with an old sumatrana gene, from a few generation back. the stripped persitome gives it away, i saw a Sumatrana x n.mirabilis, and and the resulting plant is a giant mirabilis with a lovely sumatrana persitome.
