Hi I'm Adilson an Orchid and CP grower from BrasÃlia - Brazil. I'm a rookie in the Nepenthes universe so I'm starting with a few nepenthes plants. I hope I can share and learn a lot here!
Regards
Adilson

We'd like to see/hear what kind of temperatures you have, how you are growing them and hybrids or species you have there. Welcome aboard! Michael

Hi Michael
Thanx a lot for the warm welcome. I'll be posting photos of my plants in the next days, but concerning nepenthes I've got nothing really interesting yet specially when we compare with the beautifull (BIG) hybrids of your nursery.
I live in a savanah region, wich is not naturally suited for growing nepenthes outdoors (nevertheless my region is home of dozens of other native CPS)
We have a 2 season set: 6 months of dryness 10% (or less!) humidity (may -october ) and the rest of the year 50% to 100% humidity. Fortunatelly I live in a area wich is 1.000 to 1.300 meters above sea level so our temperatures here are more in the intermediate band. winter is average 25 - 5 celsius summer is 33 - 18 celsius.
I'm used to grow either lowland - highland cps and orchids providing plenty of water and moisture in my semi-open greenhouse, so I think I'll have no bigger problems dealing with more adaptable highland species and hybrids.
That's it for now
Regards
Adilson

Welcome Adilson, While your starting collection may be modest. After meeting many of the "seasoned" growers here, you should soon find yourself acquiring many hybrid seeds and perhaps trade seeds of some of your native stuff (one man's weed, another man's treasure) for things you don't grow or have access to. Before long your collection will grow and develop into a collector's one. You are fortunate to have a cooler climate and I'd be sure your growing area can accommodate the size you may end up with growing plants from seeds.

Hi again michael
Yes I'm very interested in trading seeds. My place is very rich in Utricularia, Drosera and Genlisea if someone is interested in trading these genera.
I have a thing for the Squat nepenthes specially Sibuyanensis and its hybrids.
Take care and Thank you
Adilson
