Stems: climbing; not coarse. Leaves: petiolate, half amplexicaul, coriaceous, lamina elliptical-elongate, apex rounded, base obtuse. Lower Pitchers: ventricose in the lower part, tubulose in the upper part; 2 wide fimbriate wings present; peristome cylindrical to expanded; mouth nearly transverse; lid orbicular, apex rounded, base obtuse, lid glandular beneath. Upper Pitchers: mostly cylindrical, 7 cm x 2.5 cm to 12.5 cm x 3.5 cm; 2 ribs or rudimentary wings present; peristome cylindrical to expanded; mouth oblique with a short posterior neck; lid orbicular, apex rounded, base rounded, lid glandular beneath. Inflorescence: a panicle. Indumentum: mostly not present, glabrous. Color:bright green pitchers flushed with red above, peristome green. Distinguishing Features:
