Stems: prostrate or climbing; obtusely triangular, to .7- 1 cm thick. Leaves: sessile, decurrent to 2 wings over 1/2 to 1 internode; lamina linear- lanceolate: 20 cm x 5 cm to 60 cm x 7 cm; apex obtuse or rounded; base attenuate; veins: 6- 7, located in the outer 2/3 of lamina, pennate veins indistinct, irregularly reticulate. Lower Pitchers: broadly rounded base, widely ovate, conical towards the top: to 20 cm x 12 cm; 2 fimbriate wings present, to 1 cm; mouth oblique, incurved to lid; peristome flattened or expanded, to .8- 1.5 cm wide; lid broadly ovate, to 1 cm, apex rounded, base rounded, flat or obtusely keeled, with not many glands; spur filiform, inserted some mm from lid, to 1.2 cm. Upper Pitchers: ellipsoidal, widest about the middle: 10 cm x 9 cm to 26 cm x 9 cm; 2 prominent ribs present; mouth oblique, acute towards the lid; peristome flattened or expanded, to .8- 1.5 cm wide; lid broadly ovate, apex rounded, base rounded, lid flat or obtusely keeled, with not many glands; spur filiform, inserted some mm from lid, to 1.2 cm. Inflorescence: a coarse raceme, to 30 cm; pedicels 2 flowered, 3 cm long; bracts not present. Indumentum: sparse, young parts arachnoideously hairy, inflorescence sparingly but distinctly hairy.
