Stems: climbing, to 7 m; cylindrical, to .5- 1 cm thick. Leaves: petiolate, winged, forming a semi amplexicaul sheath; lamina broadly lanceolate: 20 cm x 4 cm to 30 cm x 7 cm; margins; apex accuminate; base attenuate; veins: 3- 4, located in the outer 1/3 of lamina, pennate nerves numerous, forming an irregular network. Lower Pitchers: UNKNOWN Upper Pitchers: gradually originating from tendril, wholly infundibulate: 8 cm x 3 cm to 11 cm x 5 cm; 2 ribs present, sometimes with thin wings; mouth nearly round, oblique; peristome flattened, to .4- 1 cm wide; lid sub- orbicular, to 5 cm, apex rounded, base cordate, lid glandular; spur simple, small. Inflorescence: a panicle, to 30 cm; pedicels - 5 flowered, 3 cm long. Indumentum: sparse. Color: stems and leaves light green, paler below, tendril and pitcher yellow green, peristome dark green, interior surface of pitcher with violet spots, lid yellow green, reddish above, peduncle green with reddish hue, tepals light green, later red. Distinguishing Features: paniculate, but with wholly infundibulate, unwinged pitchers
