Buy tree seedlings, have the Dayaks plant them and then watch your trees grow through Google Earth. The Internet makes it possible: www.mybabytree.org/I bought eight, and I'd encourage you to help, too. Puzzle: what if so many people buy trees that the National Park runs out of space for them??

An abandoned steam tunnel ...now I've seen everything. Sounds like something out of a first-person shooter! Good job there, Nathan!

Thanks very much, longor!
I didn't realize this is such a peculiar species. After looking at the first ten pix or so, I was going to ask "were there no lowers?"....until I saw the last pix!
Learned something new today....

This is an exceedingly rare hybrid Really? Not to be a smartass, but I seem to recall seeing this hybrid in Sarawak quite a bit. Wouldn't surprise me, either, what with raff and mirabilis being two quite common species that often grow in the same location. Rare or not, it is very beautiful, though :-)

Fellers - not to be a boring German here, but you do realize that any name that hasn't the actual and full word "NEPENTHES" in it will not create any Google hits by people looking for info on Nepenthes, dooming the forum to create buzz trough mere word-to-mouth. Maybe someone has experience in how to get more website hits with proper wording?

Great stuff there, Sam. I love seeing mayhem and destruction, er, I mean the interaction of animals and plants. Keep 'em coming!

Hi everyone,
first off, congratulations to this dedicated and very professional forum. I'm also happy to see that Michael M. now has a dedicated stomping ground (Rainforest). I've really been missing his posts and plants.
One question, to avoid angering the powers that be right from the bat: if I just want to post a few pix from plants in my greenhouse, what category would I use?
Thanks, and keep up the good work!
TT PS: Guest posting is not allowed here, I hope? :-)
