The picture in the previous post shows a specimen collected in 1949. The material below, judging by the state of the paper, seems to be far older but, unfortunately, I couldn't find the date. The material is still unindentified by the herbarium staff but I'm pretty SURE it is N. danseri as the location data states ("î Waighiou" is Waigeo Island). Just check the shape of the leave, its attachement, the flowers panicle. I did'nt know though that N. danseri could be that large! I was marvelled to discover that such a recently described species (1997) could in fact dwell well hidden in a herbarium for a very long time  !
