Hey Everyone,
How amazing the world of nepenthes has become. And what a great place we have here.
Well I live in the island chain of Hawai'i. I have been growing just over four years now growing mainly Nepenthes... and Drosera, with a hint of Sarrs. I'm a purist for the species but enjoy the hybrids as well.

Rob Welcome, like everyone else here I am new also lol. If you are looking for an easy to grow species of plant that is not a nep or drosera you may want to try U.gibba. It's not impressive but still a cool plant.

Thanks for the tip. But I'm pretty focused on the three genus' mentioned but I do have lily pads and black magic taro growing which a Utricalria specie could be introduced to.

welcome CS, hopefully we'll get more Hawai'ian growers out here. there are many many growers. now if only they'd give up the hopeless VFT's and start growing nepenthes instead!
