Hello . Shigeo Kurata has described this new species from Mindanao, Philippines, earlier in the year. ( Insectivorous Plant Society (2008, 59(1): 12-17) ) The species had been previously known by some growers as N. sp. Mt Hamiguitan. The type description is based upon cultivated material. The plant is characterised especially by a peltate leaf tip, ovoid pitchers and large nectar glands. Here are some pictures taken by Stewart Mc Pherson: Nepenthes peltata Nepenthes peltata Nepenthes peltata Nepenthes peltata Nepenthes peltata Here are some other pictures from the plant by Thomas Gronemeyer who made the trip with Stewart. forum.carnivoren.org/topic.php?id=15135&I managed to get the full description thanks to a very helpful and kind friend. if someone wants it, please PM me you mail address.François.
