A good friend asked my assistance in setting up a greenhouse on his property and I agreed. I brought him a proposal for a Conley's greenhouse of modest agricultural proportions. My friend, however, took it upon himself to go out and purchase this trick little Rion Prestige model. I must admit my interest in helping was greatly diminished when I learned that, instead of a "real" greenhouse, we would be assembling this small plastic structure. Still, I had committed to help so here it is ....... It arrives in a series of about a dozen large, flat, boxes that contain what seems like a million parts. After unpacking and a little study, the assembly is pretty quick and easy. I am generally skeptical of large plastic constructions but the Israeli made Rion is well spec'd and everything fits together nicely. A spot was selected and a rough foundation prepared. My friend went so far as to bring in a water storage tank. Then comes the assembly of the roof .... next comes the walls .... the wall panels go in and the roof on .... some concrete foundations are poured in the four corners and the doors are installed .... still to be installed are the vent actuators, solar lights, benches, irrigation pump, timer and sprinklers ....

After the benches are put in this soon becomes a small space for growing things. I hope he is planning to grow miniature orchids or something microscopic because the problem in getting an enclosure, it can NEVER be large enough!

Hello , Michael, I'm not sure you growers fro the tropics know how lucky you are to grow Nepenthes outdoors. It would already be a fulfilled dream for me to have such a nice greenhouse. François.

It is a cute greenhouse but for the cost I could have put up one 5 times the size. Michael is right .... it will be full immediately with no avenue for expansion.
This would be a great little unit (8'x20') for the city or suburban backyard but makes little sense here in Hawaii. My friend has perfect natural conditions so I don't even like that it is enclosed.

wow!!! Fantastic greenhouse there. LOL! Yeah...for most of you guys...this is like a small outdoor terrarium. But considering some of us just grow a handful of plants which are probably less than the variety you would have in a single square meter of your grow areas, this is huuuuuuge. Once I settle down in the coming years...this is the first thing I will do...buy a similar greenhouse. Thanks for sharing!
