Yep, a favorite of mine and still going strong. Reminds me of thorelii x TM before there was a thorelii x TM.  Where does your striped peristome come from?

I imagine from the densiflora parent. But doesn't "thorelii" have stripes as well?
These pitchers are very firm and waxy. I assume it must be from the densiflora side or it could be from an over ambitious N. ventricosa like a red leather form. These are doing rather well and I have several clones so I hope these will grow to a good size and flower soon.

From all the so-called "thorelii", only N. bokorensis has a striped peristome. If you EP hybrid has EP's "squat" thorelii as a parent then your hybrid should be relabelled as N. bokorensis x ( ventricosa x densiflora). All EP "squat" thorelii hybrids should be relabelled as bokorensis hybrids but it is Geoff and Andrea's choice. Cheers, François.

Cheers, François. thanks, this is the explanation I was looking for, as I didn't think any of the parents in this hybid had striped peristomes. I think mine is from the same crossing. so interesting variation going on here. Do you have any pictures of the lower pitchers?
