You sent me some. I didn't have spectacular germination and nothing made it past about 1/4".
I've had the sib x hamata discussion with someone by email a while ago. Though it may have been intentioned to be sib x hamata, it definitely is not. My reasoning I haven't the time to get into right now, but in short, so much variation in a primary hybrid, with none of the seedlings looking anything like a predicted outcome is strong evidence that it is not what it is purported to be. Whoever says that you can't predict what the outcome will be of a hybridization either hasn't looked at enough pictures of the parents or hasn't the hybridizing experience (or they're just really terrible and predicting an outcome).
And Geoff, the photos you posted do not look like sib x hamata to me. At first glance, sib x maxima, yes. But hey what do I know.
