I have purchased a Nepenthes Gothica (in Queensland, Australia ;D) but can't seem to get any info on it. I believe it is a hybrid variety. All I want to know is what is its parentage? What varieties were used to produce this beautiful plant? Can anyone shed any light on the subject?

Hi hatman,
Did you buy it directly from Goeff and/or Andrea Mansell? You are lucky to live so near to one of the biggest and best Nepenthes nurseries in the world. Someday I hope to fly halfway around the world to visit them myself.

Thanks guys for the comments. Hey I was just looking through a flea market one Sunday morning and there was this shady looking guy who had about 5 of these things with the pitchers for $20 each. Judging by what he had on his stall he didn't look like the fella that grew them, just a reseller. Don't think they were the people you mention Walter. In fact haven't seen any around since! They don't even sell these at any of the nurseries or anywhere. Seems that there is only one real nursery in the state that grows and sells them. What a shame I am only 4 hours drive away ;D
