Beautiful pitchers as always, Keith. You may want to double-check your tags on Ali'i: I'm pretty sure it's splendiana x sanguinea, so it would be (kampotiana x maxima) x sanguinea: lhnn.proboards.com/thread/249How is your splendiana x x Mixta doing? Is it staying small for you? From this photo and previous ones, I was wondering whether this was going to be a dwarf individual, but I could be mistaken. I'm curious about Trallians and which parent it will take after.

I checked my tag and it is correct and then checked my spreadsheet and it is correct too. It seems that I couldn't stay on the right line and copied parentage information from the next line x andrewensis which is (anamensis x ventricosa) x khasiana. Sorry about the confusion. Thanks for pointing this out. As for my splendiana xx mixta, yes it is staying very small and keeps putting out basals. In fact it put out so many basals that the mother plant eventually died. The plant picture is a rooted basal from the original plant.

Thanks for sharing photos of your plants Keith.
I'm always impressed at the size of your plant collection and how you are able to tend to them.
Is your N. veitchii still catching lizards to dine on?

Thanks for your kind words! Unfortunately, between work and night classes they have been a bit neglected over the past year... However, I am just finishing up my last paper until I start in on my MBA in the fall so they should get plenty of TLC over the summer. The big collection is a blessing and a curse; next week I have to move over half of my collection to tent the house and garage for termites... Next week is not going to be fun.... As for the veitchii, yes it occasionally gets a lizard or two. As the collection has grown so too has the lizard population. But for the most part they just hide among the plants and scare the heck out of me as I trim dead leaves and pitchers. They also drive my dogs crazy, they are always barking at lizards just out of their reach.... Thanks for sharing photos of your plants Keith. I'm always impressed at the size of your plant collection and how you are able to tend to them. Is your N. veitchii still catching lizards to dine on? dvg
