Very large and pretty but soft and difficult to manage. N. thorelii x merrilliana (Exotica Plants) Quickly becoming a favorite .... N. Regan NN3891096 N. (spathulata x veitchii) x alata 'variegata' Brand new out of the box ..... N. Shaleen NN5060871 N. bellii x clipeata N. eustachya With diminutive growth, very dark pitchers and a peristome that does not fold back .... N. Justice NN2570640 N. ventricosa x 'Eclipse' N. Destiny NN3461110 N. (thorelii x densiflora) x campanulata N. Julia NN5170997 N. (merrilliana x truncata) x (thorelii x (macrophylla x lowii)) Another clipeata hybrid fresh out of the box ...... N. J. Lovelock NN5201181 N. merrilliana x clipeata With BIG potentials ..... N. Caesarion NN5180998 N. (merrilliana x truncata) x veitchii N. V. I. Vernadsky NN3760842 N. alata x northiana N. Nicodemus NN5271186 N. rafflesiana x (eymae x veitchii) I think Exotica has done this cross with a couple of different N. rafflesiana. This would be my favorite. N. rafflesiana x merrilliana (Exotica Plants)

It's just amazing! I never have been into hybrids, but your pictures are making me change my mind! Thanks for sharing, I wish I could have just such a big and beautiful plant as one of yours.

william9in .... I've got you down for one of those, two of those, a few of the these and a bunch that, some of the others, some more of these and them too. ( Invoice to follow) ;D tuuagso .... Patience and consistency over long periods of time and you will have the plants you desire. ocpaddict10 .... N. alata x northiana has been a bit of a sleeper. N. northiana is pretty good about passing on several aspects of it pitcher morphology but it also appears to pretty consistently pass on it characteristic finikyness.

Dear Sam, Nepenthes are octoploids, but functional diploids. Perhaps some species are not functioning diploids, but functioning tetraploids....? Might possibly explain why some species are so dominant in F1 hybrids... If they have twice as much working DNA.
