Lordy, that is some operation, Sam. Do you find you have trouble tracking where everything is, or is it all well organized? I often had trouble locating specific plants in the nursery, since I was the only one who kept any mental record of where things were. If someone moved something....well,....abandon all hope, etc, etc. ;-)
Thanks for the spectacular view of your workspace!

Well done Sam! I am always trying to explain to people how many Nepenthes you really have and just can't ever put it into words! Look forward to visiting again this year.

I'm not only jealous of the plants you have, I am really jealous of your weather, humidity in Hawaii must be seriously high, I can't grow a single plant out of a terrarium or a very humid greenhouse because humidity here simply sucks!
Amazing shots! Thanks for sharing your field of Nepenthes

Hi tuaagso:
I think you really want to grow these plants, you must either acquire more equipment to make the humidity right or move to a location where the relative humidity is higher than mexico city. e.g closer to the ocean? Acapulco?

Agustinfranco, I don't have any problem growing my plants in greenhouses, I managed to control the humidity, and my natural temperatures are perfect for highland species. I only hate I can't grow plants outside because of extreme low humidity. Everybody loves acapulco, but you could only grow lowland species there as the average temperature there is about 90°F.

I love your new nursery truck, Sam. And what was that cat's name again?

"Lordy, that is some operation, Sam. Do you find you have trouble tracking where everything is, or is it all well organized?" ;D ;D ;D You know the cat's name .... Walter Yeah, the new "nursery truck" is really growing on me but there are not many opportunities for 6th gear. It holds more plants than you might think. ;D

I can't believe how the nursery has grown. We haven't been able to visit for over six years -- hope to return soon! (Even though the mosquitoes got Lisa pretty good last time...) Aloha, Paul
