What's the name of that small mammal again that lives in symbiosis with N. lowii? (it eats the "sherbet" while crapping into the pitcher, thus fertilizing the plant.)

Hi All,
twoton, as far as I know it is just a bird that eats the nectar.
jefforever, yes they can produce that much nectar that it falls off the lid.

I'm 100% sure there's also a small mammal (lemur or colago or somesuch), because someone touched upon the subject in his talk last year at the Kuching Nep Summit.

Thanks for answering my q. Last Christmas I was considering putting a pic of a nice big Lowii upper on the front of a card. I decided it might not appeal to some of my family. Thanks for posting these pics.
