Hi, My name is Michael fallen I'm thirteen years old and I live in springdale pa. I've been growing plants since i was about four. I started out with cactus and succulents, now I have about sixty five orchids and ten nepenthes and a few other carnivorous plants. I really like the pitcher plants And I want to expand my collection but my allowance does not buy me many neps ;D ;D. I will be looking forward to communicating with other members on the forum. Thanks, Michael fallen

Hi Michael...like you I started growing plants at a very young age. I got into cactus and succulents about when I was 8. Now nearly 50 I still love and grow cactus. I started CPs I'd say in my early teens but back then information was hard to come by and the information you would find said they had to have high humidity at all times. Well I had to give up CPs for the time. Now for about 6 months I am getting back into CPs, particularly nepenthes. I have about 20 right now but it's growing in number. As mentioned I still have my large number of cactus but nepenthes are my pride and joy.
Anyway welcome.

Hi Michael and welcome to the forum.
I too started out with an interest in cactus and succulents.
I ordered a great deal of seed from Mesa Garden, to get my C&S collection off the ground.
Anyway, if you like Nepenthes, this is the site for you!

Welcome to the forum, Michael. I can fix you up with some more Nepenthes. Where do you keep them during the nasty Pennsylvania winter?

Hello, Walterg I grow all my plants in my basement under strong lighting you can see most of my plants on the pitcherplant proboards I think the thread on the second page of the nepenthes section. I only use I humidifier to keep humidity up so they took a long time for them to adjust. But there all doing well. More neps would be great. I want a greenhouse but my dad said no! ;D
