Weather in Mexico is turning weird, April-May are supposed to be the hottest months of the year, and it was really hot a few weeks ago, but now it started to rain so much, as if it were summer, very weird, but my plants loved that climate change, April last year they were at 29-32°C at day and 18-20°c at night, now they are at 23-25°C at day, 10-15°C at night, just the way they like it to be. I only hope summer doesn't turn into winter with all these temperature changes every year, my lowland ones are already dying... Anyways, I better stop writing and show you some pics... Nepenthes jamban Nepenthes ovata Nepenthes sibuyanensis Nepenthes truncata Nepenthes x "Hookeriana" Nepenthes x "Judith Finn" Nepenthes clipeata Nepenthes eymae Nepenthes hamata x platychila Hope you like it

My hamata x platy isn't doing too well, but has at least 2 growth points, so hopefully something will pukll through. That is too good to give up on.

It took a really long time to settle in but now it is off and running very fast. Yours will pull through with patience if your conditions are right. I almost gave up this plant cause it didn't do anything for months.

Wow! paddict10 your hamata x platychila is doing great! That pitcher is awesome, I hope mine gets like that soon. I've heard so many people have issues growing this plant, I think is a truly highland, I got mine on late September and it started to pitcher upon middle December, I'm not having troubles at all with this hybrid, in fact it's one of my most vigorous plants, just give it enough humidity and you'll see the results.
