Outstanding, eclectic collection. Thanks, Sam, for the tour. I recently bought N. Parasol because of your photos of it!

It's interesting to see what parents are dominant in these crosses and how genetics plays around.
In N. alata x mira, the alata is very present with little mira showing. However, in N. (truncata x densiflora) x mira, the mira traits are very strong. But then, in N. (spathulata x veitchii) x alata, I can't see the alata at all. Logic would say that if you crossed N. spathulata x veitchii with N. truncata x densiflora, you'd see only the spathulata x veitchii but chances are, this isn't completely true. It would be a fun experiment to try.

N. 'Peter D'Amato' x maxima is a cross made by California Carnivores. I acquired a couple a few years ago. You might ask Peter.

N. alata x mira looks very much like alata x truncata so far. In some crosses N. mira shows and in some it is not so obvious. It always brings size.
N. (spathulata x veitchii) x alata was made with N. alata 'variegata'. I did a number of crosses with it thinking it might pass on the variegations but it does not. Its a strange gracile alata with a rather unique pitcher shape but its features seem to fold in most combinations.
Both spathulata and veitchii are very domineering in hybrid combinations and I would expect that anything, male or female, that you combine it with will show characteristics of both species pretty clearly.

N. Dormouse is a trip! It has all the charm of a fat colorful frog.

That (sibuyanensis x (trusmadiensis)) x truncata should be very interesting. I have a truncata x (spathulata x (trusmadiensis)) which should be equally interesting dont you think?
Was the sibu x trus a cutting from ep? Ive bought a female cutting from them an i was wondering how the pitchers look

Very nice Sam! Will the PDA x maxima be for sale? We're you aware that Tony has plants of N. Peter D'Amato X Trusmadiensis coming along? This ought to be even more interesting, I would think. nitrogenseekers.wordpress.com

Yes! I'm a fan of N. 'Clarabell' as well.
It's a great looking complex hybrid.
