Gorgeous bical-red x spec...one i haven't seen a lot of before, but those two species mixed quite well for this outcome.

Prettiest bical hybrid I have ever seen! Yes, its quite fantastic. It started to basal, then one i came into the GH and it was knocked over. The plant has produced pitchers since but i think it stunted the basal growth?? any ideas??? was hoping to cut it eventually

DBT, i couldn't tell from your pic, but is your bical cross producing any of those fang-like appendages that the species is known for?

Yes, i was expecting it to have subdued fangs at the very least - that's what i've been seeing with other bical crosses.
It would be exciting to see some more pics of this superb pitcher and its mini-fangs.

Love that bical hybrid. Would you say that you're growing it in lowland or intermediate conditions?

Love that bical hybrid. Would you say that you're growing it in lowland or intermediate conditions? Hey, it pretyy much lowland here but intermediates and hybrids do very well because of the condition i give them. The misting every 20 mins and i have fans circulating air. So i really think that helps a ton
