some people may be experts growing plants, but have little knowledge on what happens on the field. Don't confuse both facts.

not confusing facts...i think its fact that ep has made enough primary and complex hybrids to see what happens in the resulting offspring

Still not the same. so what you are saying is that if you are a good car driver you are also a good mechanic? So if you can grow nepenthes, you become a taxonomist?

Thats not at all what im saying..There are many people who are great plant growers, but know nothing about traits and genes...Then there are people like EP:) EP isnt just a good car driver they are a good mechanic too. Ep has crossed species and hybrids maaaaaaany of times. They have a good eye at how the genes or traits play out in the wild or not... also great with identification..more than any of us. I don't care what school taught any taxonomist ( i didnt go to school for fashion photography, yet i have covers of big magazines)...Ep has there hands and eyes right in there. BE is a great grower but for this many years and experience when are the mistakes going to stop?? its like my friend had a merrilliana and he was so excited but turned out to be merrilliata.. then there is the sib x hamata, platychila and the list goes on...Ep has a flawless record. You dont have to be in the "wild" to learn this. Ep has worked with there f1s and 2s and whatever the don't point out things for no reason..Anyway Ep is the best end of story and if we disagree we can go over to CP photo finder and see who created about 75% of the hybrids there and probably the best samples of plant pics prove it..wether species or hybrid:)
