Those look like tiny ants collecting any nectar they can gather from that dry peristome's ribs. Bet they don't do nearly as well as that plant does after a quick shower. dvg

Gotcha ya. I thought you had seedlings of them:). I still call them seedlings. Here is a pic of them from last year around this time. And then a few days later i potted them up separately. They are still in those 5" pots, but the four largest plants could use a repotting again since they have grown to the point that i can only get four of these plants to fit comfortably in a regular sized seedling tray. Hopefully they will flower soon and i can start breeding these plants out and let them go about making some seed. Favian, i hope that your plant turns out to be everything that you hoped it to be. dvg

looks great DVG..are any looking squat and red? or mostly prostate and green bodied? do you know what parents looked like? non the less beautiful stripes!! Hi Dom, What i've been observing with these seedlings is that with each successive pitcher, the peristome is stealing a larger proportion of the overall height from the pitcher body. For example, the pitcher shown above was not as compact as the newest pitcher to form on that plant, shown below. Here is another example of one of these seedlings making squatter red pitchers - pitchers that should continue to become rounder and more compact with the coming new pitchers. dvg

Nice profiles of the pitchers -any chance of getting a head on pic of that striped pitcher?
Approximately how tall are those pitchers?
