Nepenthes will sooner or later develop into vines that makes upper pitchers that will require some sort of support. For some, no pitchers will be made unless their tendrils come into contact with a support host. Here N. bicalcarata x mirabilis red mottled emerges from a branch of an adenium. The plant, some distance away just so happen to reach across the stem and make that connection. After grasping hold of the branch, a pitcher soon developed and ready for business. M
