Two species, please guess the correct order female x male parentage. And state why you say this is what it is. M

Um, don't we already know that? It looks pretty dark for something so small so something like carunculata/bongso or izumiae. It is also slightly ventricose so I'm guessing izumiae x ventricosa

Srduggins, Those are great guesses based on very well perceived information. But this cross has never been done or photographed before. Well, not to my knowledge.

my guess is because of form of the leave and dark colour:
mira x bongso

This does have a "bongso" look to it, but it has no bongso in it. Also there is no mira in it either.
The interesting thing in this hybrid is that the species used here doesn't resemble the end result, well not really.

Wow, interesting group of guesses. The answer of the species were given but different orders or pairings.
Try again. This is a good one.

So that's what lowii x campanulata looks like.

So that's what lowii x campanulata looks like. Yes that's what it looks like! These should be made available later this year from Exotica Plants. These have been growing steadily for me in warm Hawai'i and like many other hybrids should develop into very interesting plants. Hybrids with campanulata have shown the bst of both worlds. N. bical red x camp = nice bical-like pitchers on a compact rosette, N. truncata x campanulata = truncata-like plants with compact pitchers intermediate between both, N. ventricosa x campanulata = ventricosa-like on a compact rosette. Now N. lowii x campanulata = perhaps lowii-like pitchers on a compact rosette. Of course woody pitchers with long life. M
