In this thread, new hybrids will be featured that are just recently being offered. This preview of these small seedlings will show their developmental stages from tiny plants to the monsters that we might see on Ebay. Discussion of what to expect and some cultural hints hope to make this thread an interesting read.

N. rafflesiana giant x merrilliana This seedling has a beautiful bronzy leaf that appears wide and yet elongated. N. rafflesiana features are dominant in the pitchers as do some of the speckling on a pale background. This could change and the pitchers might color up deeply as seen in a previous appearance by N. rafflesiana dark x sibuyanensis. The use of merrilliana and the clone used being a giant among pitchers, could result in a large raff-type pitcher the size of a water melon! N. merrilliana also seems to have compact plant rosettes while still having large pitchers. This trait may also be seen in this pairing. M

N. thorelii x merrilliana Already a large colorful pitcher is evident in this hybrid. Could something actually be better than a thorelii x truncata? This would be a high contender for that title. Imagine large red lasting pitchers on a melon size pitcher. M

N. sibuyanensis x (northiana x veitchii) It's about time we see a veitchii used with a sibuyanensis! If the breeding influences of sibuyanensis follows suit, it is with hopes that we see a fat squat veitchii-like pitcher with stripes and flaring. Imagine a tubby northiana x veitchii hybrid with broad leaves and shorter tendrils. I have already selected a site for this hybrid when it gets larger and it will. The upper pitchers will be amazing if the northiana x veitchii will dominate.
Now all I could ask for would be N. sibuyanensis x Dyeriana (hint hint hint) and even N. lowii x sibuyanensis. If sibuyanensis x Trusmadiensis is amazing, imagine a tubby lowii with constricted waist and the sibuyanensis peristome made of heavy plastic feel.

N. spectabilis x (lowii x ventricosa) Again Exotica Plants has created a cross that I feel will add a great addition to their offerings of a select hybrid. The coloring of spectabilis is very evident in these seedlings and when combined with a favorite lowii x ventricosa red, we find a marriage of perfection. Here are a couple representatives of that grex: M
