You can't have a Nep forum without a thread on TM hybrids. What is TM? - CENSORED - I think Rainforest actually coined the abbreviation for Trusmadiensis and it has been popularized by myself and every other grower too lazy to type out the whole name, but fortunate enough to grow these beauties. These are among my favorite hybrids. Enough of the chit-chat, let's see the pics! ventricosa x TM - I call this the lol clone. It is a male and currently in spike: thorelii x TM - these are basal pitchers from my original "collared clone" that I have passed out a few cuttings of. It starts out with a vibrant striped peristome that quickly darkens into a dark red. truncata x TM - these should be among the best of the best hybrids. I think this may be the rarer truncata-squat x TM I got it a year before the others: This orange clone starts out with a nice contrasting lime green peristome before it slowly ripens to match the orange pitcher: this is the green and red version which maintains its contrast I also have a dark purple version that may be the best clone of the bunch. That's all for now. Let's see what you're growing.

Steve, All I can say about the beautiful plants you've grown is, "You've come a long way baby!" The ventri x TM is a beaut! While many people opt for the more redder or red with green striped peristomes, I like the more "wild" appearing results.
The thorelii x TM hybrids is spectacular for color. But they really need more light and be grown hard to really bring out the animal in that hybrid.
I'll be updating my photo section on the thorelii x TM hybrids when my new camera arrives. Many of my thorelii x TM have started to develop more matured uppers with very unique characteristics.

That first one looks like something was directly crossed with a Macrophylla! The size is amazing.

Wow, those plants are doing well in your care. The sib x TM really fooled me with it's size. It didn't look that big until you held it in your hand.

Thank you! and the sib x TM is working on it's second pitcher since being moved and the size is what impressed me can't wait until the second on has fully developed it was looking more lowiish for a bit have to go check on it to see how it is now. It was yours and ludwigs posts that moved me to the TM hybrids in the first place after all.
