Hello Michael ! What a fantastic hybrid! Massive and beautiful. I have begun to make preparations to initiate this plant to produce a spike. Care to explain more about that? Or is it a CIA thing ;D ? Speak soon, François.

Subjecting a matured plant to chemical and environmental changes can cause it to stress making a spike as a result. High phosphorus fertilizers (soluble form) combined with high nutribasic additives can cause a plant to transform itself from a seedling to a sexually matured specimen even when still producing immature pitchers.
