Hi here my N. dubia. The plant is a basal shoot and comes from BE and was from the first seedgrown batches a few years ago. I got the plant last winter. I was very chocked when i got the plant, because it was at -6 degrees and the Sphagnum around the plant was frozen. Now the plant is doing fine and grow very good.

Oh god your veitchii seedlings Are huge! And I still can't believe what the dubia went through and what it looks like.
I'm getting a lot of heroes from these forums and Jens you are definitely on that list.

Yes they are. This is just one pot. I have more of them I believe Nepenthes are harder than the most People think. I had last year for one day freezing Temperatures in the trailer and there was ice on the plant. All survived Thank you rob Jens

yeah Jens! You are definitely among the elites here. Can u please give a little walkthrough of how to get soo good germination rate with seeds? I am still waiting on lowii seed to germinate with only 3 that germinated so far. Can u pls tell me about ur mix, conditions, any variability as they grow in terms of low light before germination and then high light etc.

Hey three is better than I've seen vraev, I had an aristo. hybrid seed batch only one popped up then disappeared as the warmer weather arrived (this was when I lived in Kaneohe last last year) but I wouldn't mind a Nep seed course refresher, especially from you Jens.
As for lighting I've found all want fairly high light levels.

Hi Vraev
I do nothing special with seeds I sow them on LFS and put the pots in Zip-Lock Bags. Then i place the bags under good light. I use 39W T5 light bulbs. My Temperatures are 20-25degrees day and night. I also spray them every 2-3 days with fresh water and let it rinse out.
The most seeds germinate after max 14days in good rate. When they have their first Pitchers i put them out of the bag and grow them as usual plants
This method works very well for me
