This must be at the Highland House since the facility appears different. Nice size to your faizaliana and boschianas. M

If that is a cane toad, it's definitely Sam's "high" -land house. Good stuff as usual. Cheers, Joe

Absolutely gorgeous, Sam! Funny, because, recently, I wanted to see a picture of faizaliana and boschiana together since they are so related. I'm trying to get a faizaliana by the way. Where did you get yours (MT?)? I fear that some sources do not sell the right thing. Cheers, François.

I keep coming back to look at that sumatrana. We need to cross it with northiana someday.

sumatrana x (x mixta) would be killer too. Or even sumatrana x (x Dyeriana), or truncata! Or merrilliana! Or anything haha.

I've got two large N. sumatrana but neither has flowered yet. I moved them into larger pots earlier this year and into an area with slightly more light. They did not seem to suffer any transplant shock but did not care for the brighter light. I have moved them back to their original locations in the seed-house where it is more humid and a little shadier and they seem to be responding well. I also moved my N. longafolia, which has never really thrived for me, into the seed-house and it too seems to appreciate the shadier, more humid environment.

Sam, I have one giant N. sumatrana left (alive) from a seed batch I believe I got from Robert many moons ago. It made a nice large pitcher recently and I am induing it to flower. I have had it growing in a shady location and has developed greatly. I will keep you posted as to its flowering development and hopefully yours will be flowering as well.
