Wow longor! I love both of these species but I spent more time looking at your scenery shots and portraits. As interesting as pitcher plants are they are still not as interesting as the human face. The picture that held my attention for the longest time is this one ....

Hi Sam,
an expedition is more than just finding nepenthes, so i would like to share more of the experience, the people behind it and the scenery, hopefully i can paint a better atmosphere of the journey.
cheers

Longor, As I have mentioned many times over, I really love your photos and reports as they make me feel like I was there. The photos of so many others are bland and they might have not even been there and just take a sterile snapshot in a scientific lab instead of being there. Your photos make me feel like I was there! Some people attribute it to being a way one think. Imagine a teacher holding an apple and asking her pupils to tell her what they see. Most of the students will say I see an apple. A few (very few) will say, I see a woman (wearing...) in front of a blackboard, with many other students in a huge room holding an apple. You Longor is that individual that sees it all!
Great report to accompany these wonderful photos!

Yep, fantastic job Longor! Thanks for doing such a great job. The moss forest shots in the mist really put us there with you! ~Shawn
