My ventricosa has been battling rust-spot for about a year now, does anyone know what I can do about it? I don't like using fungicides, and was wondering if anyone had a easier, more natural alternative? It might be the soil mix, I have been meaning to transplant it into a better mix. Right now it is in pure LFS... not a good medium i know. I was wondering if it would help to change it to a more neutral growing medium.
thanks, Greg

It causes the pitchers to grow deformed and the lid to open prematurely, it also only seems to appear on the new growth.

The kind of tissue collapse seen on the upper leaf surface is typically bacterial in nature, not fungal. I don't think you have a fungal disease at all, but I hope some other folks weigh in on the matter.

yeah, it does look to be more bacterial than fungal.

If you have a bacterial leaf disease going on, you ought to be thinking about very aggressively dealing with it before it jumps on half your collection. Seriously.
