Description: DANSER 372
Stems: climbing; obtusely or sharply triangular, to .3- .7 cm thick.
Leaves: sessile, semi- amplexicaul without forming a sheath; lamina lanceolate or spathulate- lanceolate: 8 cm x 1.5 cm to 16 cm x 3.5 cm; apex obtuse to acute; base attenuate; veins: 3, located in the outer 1/2 to 1/3 of lamina, indistinct, pennate veins indistinct, irregularly reticulate.
Lower Pitchers: the lower part infundibulate, attenuate towards the mouth or cylindrical in the upper part: 7 cm x 2 cm to 8 cm x 2.5 cm; 2 fimbriate wings present, to .2- .3 cm; mouth oblique, incurved to lid; peristome flattened, sometimes elongated into short neck, to .1- .3 cm wide; lid orbicular, apex rounded, base cordate, without appendages, almost glandless towards the margin; spur flattened/truncate or divided into short branches, to .2- .3 cm.
Upper Pitchers: gradually or abruptly originating from tendril, lower half infundibulate, mostly ventricose in middle, cylindrical or slightly narrowed towards the mouth, rarely wholly campanulate- infundibulate: 7 cm x 2 cm to 20 cm x 5 cm; 2 prominent ribs present; mouth horizontal, incurved to lid; peristome flattened, sometimes elongated into short neck, expanded to .9 cm near neck, teeth pronounced, to .1- .15 cm wide; lid sub- orbicular, to 2- 4 cm, apex rounded, base cordate, lid without appendages, almost glandless towards the margin; spur simple, slightly flattened, inserted close to lid, to .2- .3 cm.
Inflorescence: a lateral raceme, to 17 cm; pedicels 1 flowered, 1- 1.5 cm long; bracts filiform.
Indumentum: sparse on stems, some ferrugineous tomentum near axils, leaves almost glabrous, inflorescence hairy.
Color: pitchers light- green, violet spotted or not, peristome reddish, lid green or reddish.
