Hi Jeff,
It has been known for quite some time that N. 'Peter D'Amato' (Briggsiana grex) is female.
I believe that this is the first cross of this cultivar made by Peter himself.

I see Tony at Exoticaplantsplus has added a few offerings, including EP's N. venticosa x ephippiata. It's the first hybrid of N. ephippiata I'm aware of, and should be a winner!

Just a note that EP is offering a new batch of cuttings, plus some new seedlings, including truncata x ephippiata!
(A lot of them are intermediate-warm types for you "tropical" growers...)

Exotica Plants released a few new crosses that should be great as always. Here's the latest from the list as of 1 / 16 / 09
truncata x ephippiata veitchii H/L x eymae (the reverse of their eymae x veitchii) veitchii H/L x maxima L (don't know if this is new or has been on the list for a while. They're small plants so it could be a new cross) lowii x campanulata (back on their list and available for import)
There may be a few more ventricosa crosses that I missed but those above seem to be the latest.

Their N. veitchii h/l x eymae is a winner, please quote me on this one. Their original cross of eymae x veitchii is spectacular! Now veitchii is the mother plant, I hope to see same growth and pitcher development with a heavier does of veitchii ( red striped peristomes) plus pitchers closer in conformation to veitchii (wide flaring peristome). Like their eymae x veitchii original, every clone is worth a million bucks! Don't miss out on this one!
Another cross also caught me eye is N. maxima x (lowii x ventricosa). This is pretty much the same thing as N. Briggsiana x maxima as offered by D'amato without the designer price tag attached. EP's lowii x ventricosa has huge wide pitchers (as seen by their what I hate most about taking cuttings shots). And we all know that their maximas are superdooper and everything they cross them to become super easy growers, this being no exception here.
I would love to see them make a maxima x (lowii x veitchii) or reverse, as this will be a superdooper N. Tiveyi!

Borneo Exotics has N. aristolochioides x spectabilis, the reverse cross of the already circulating N. spectabilis x aristo now on their list. I believe they are listed as seed grown for now until they show up later in tc I would suspect.

Borneo Exotics has N. X Singapore Garden Tech as a cross between N. ampullaria and ventricosa. They say that it seems to do well in lowland to intermediate conditions. Here's their take on it off the price list:
"The first cross between N. ampullaria - Brunei red and a colourful N. ventricosa, yielding very vigorous plants, some with outstanding bright red pitchers. Trials have shown that this hybrid grows equally well under both highland and lowland conditions. It has yet to be seen if the N. ampullaria trait of producing basal clusters shows through but we are hopeful! Multiple basal shoots are seen in immature plants. Plants have been hand selected for good colouration."
Look for CP Jungle or Exotic Plants Plus (Tony) to be one of the first to make these available.

It could be that they are being kept back to get them to size. This is why their plants always look so good. They actually grow them out a bit before shipping them to you. No teeny weeny three leaflet imps with a pinhead pitcher attached. Many boasting pitchers which look mature, yet they're still just seedlings. You know they're seedlings, they have just a small clump of roots.
I'm sure they'll be offered again soon.

For them to re-release them as Michael says is not uncommon. Regardless, they should have some for personal stock that will be used for rooted cuttings down the road.
Cheers,
Joe

The more I see photo examples of their sib x hamata the more I think they need to address this as a public apology. Mistakes can happen, even for the nepenthes god this can happen. Sticking your head in the sand and not posting stuff on forums make it more obvious that there was a labeling issue or perhaps a error (pray not this be the case) in the cross itself.

Anybody want to trade for some sib x hamata before they go public with this?
