but they are likely not the real deal, and even if they were, the pods are not ripe...

That's purposefully misrepresenting the sale items *and* stealing copyright material. You'd think they'd try to research their own market on what they can dupe people with and sell their seeds under something less high profile like...diatas or inermis or even villosa instead of just going for the gold, and stealing a picture from someone less high profile.

There's an edwardsiana on eBay. This one is actually the real deal. Apparently the guy needs the money for a medical emergency. Says its five years old from seed. It'll be interesting to see how much this one goes for.

The time frame sets it as one of Rob's from Botanique's eddies. The seed grown ones were going for 150.00 a few years back. The going price for a tc ed from Wistuba is 150 euro at this time. Didn't EP have an auction of trusmadiensis that went over 1000.00 or so? I think the starting price at 800.00 is very tempting. Considering how slow growing they are it may surpass 1000.00. We'll see!

RL Hirst, Robin, canceled his Ebay auction and moved it to the pitcher plant forum. There's some photos of it and it is very nice. Current bid was at 950.00 and will go through Tuesday night.

Exotica has updated their home page with some cool new pictures including a couple large truncata x ephippiata and their new (sib x vent) x (talangensis x hamata).

Exotica has some interesting new pics on their homepage -- several are of a TM hybrid reminiscent of edwarsiana, and another is of a sumatrana so awesome that it cannot be touched by bare human skin

Look for some of the red hairy hamatas to become available in the near future. Tony had a few on reserve briefly before they were reserved. Pricey yes, but in demand. CPJ has a snipe list for them as well.

Judging by the seller I'd say from AW (likely TC) because I know they were waiting on one from AW earlier in the year.

The seller also quotes AW on the temperatures of the eddy and that would indicate it is one of his. Also, everything else he's selling is seed grown and he doesn't specify what it is. Size also. I've only seen a few seed grown eddys and they were bigger than that one.

I asked the seller and it is indeed from AW.
Curious to see what it goes for...

Exotica has a list update as of 11 / 5. Usual there's a first wave followed by a second offering. Look for CPJ to offer some of the harder stuff to get. Michael seems to get in on some of the cuttings that are more scarce than others.
